Between the Wars
Only 23 years passed between the armistice ending
World War I and the bombing of Pearl Harbor which marked America's entrance
into World War II. But those twenty-three years were crowded with events
that still influence us today and, as usual, the music mirrored the times.
From the madcap Roaring Twenties to the grim determination of the Great Depression,
from jazz and the blues to the swing era , from the excitement of college
and professional sports to the enlightenment of poetry and drama, these few
short years seemed to have a little of everything.
Let Saint Paul Seven turn back the clock
for your group or special occasion. To journey back to the era of flappers
and big bands, call us at 732-821-9269.
